Hello Hawkeye!

yes, I have rechambered several dozen of the Henry single shot 357 magnum rifle barrels to 357 Maximum...

I have also shortened a lot of these barrels just enough to remove the front sight dovetail cut and recrown the muzzle...

Muzzle brakes too...

I have heard the trigger pull on these rifles have extremely high trigger pulls and there's no reliable way to improve them. Has that been your experience?

I have done several trigger jobs on the Henry single shot rifles, and I am able to get them down to around 3 pounds...

I however do NOT change out the hammer springs, as I have seen several others do this, and more often than not it causes too many misfires...

Good to know, that's been the only thing holding me back from getting one.
