Hey David,

I just wanted to say THANK YOU for my 357 Maximum double barrel rifle! It has been a long time since I have had this much fun with a rifle. Even my mom, dad and brother are enjoying the heck out of this gun.

We are shooting your suggested load with the bulk 180 grain Remington bullets, and at 75 yards we are consistently hitting and destroying pop cans at that distance. We are all very much looking forward to taking a deer this season with it, and if I had the money, I would bet a million bucks that I will be the only one in the woods with a double rifle in the great 357 Maximum chambering. Thank you again David for making my dreams come true, and thank you for such a wonderful rifle.

Hey Mr. Bradshaw,

glad to hear that you like your new double rifle...

I received a phone call from your dad today, and it looks like I'll get to build a couple more double rifles before next deer season, and I'm really looking forward to it...

Thank you for giving me permission to shoot your rifle after I finished building it. Talk about fun! I've got a donor gun on order for myself, even though it will be quite a while before I even think about starting on it, as customer builds come first...

I sure hope you will send pictures of deer killed this season with your new rifle, I'm looking forward to them...

peak98,

I make my double barreled 357 Maximum and 30-30 rifles from the side by side shotguns that have the design and strength for rifle cartridges, and they must have a "small" firing pin. And from the outside, these guns look identical to the shotguns they are byild around, because the rifle barrels are permanently inserted into the bores, after they have been regulated to both strike point of aim at 100 yards...

I quit showing a lot of my pictures and YouTube videos because of some of the comments received by some of the idiots on here!

Examples of YouTube videos posted:

Pronghorn antelope shot 1,862 yards!

Gallon milk jugs full of water shot and exploded at 1,200 yards - no misses!

Pheasants consistently shot and killed with a 12 ga. shotgun from 60 to 90 yards during European shoots!

Complete rifle builds from blue printing an action to completition and then exploding a 12 oz. soda pop can at 600 yards on the third shot from a just built rifle!

7 to 20+ pound carp caught on a fly rod!

Yes, I know that there are literally hundreds and hundreds of YouTube videos on the net showing all of the same types of things that I have done, and I enjoy watching them and if anything, I am amazed and proud of all those great accomplishments by other individuals. When I do my postings, I see so many rude, nasty and hateful comments, that I will no longer waste my time and money putting videos out there for others to trash!

It's a shame though, that the few idiots out there have to ruin everything for everyone else!!!

Denny,

I have used several different models of the Baikal side by side shotguns, but regardless of shotgun platform used, it must have the smaller "rifle" size firing pins, as the fat rounded shotgun firing pins will cause high pressure rifle and pistol cartridge primers to rupture/explode...

Some shotguns have primer adapters like the Encore, and with those, you can make primer holders and firing pins of the correct diameter without issue

Over/Under shotguns can also be used as well, and being custom stocked, I have made some absolutely beautiful double guns from various O/U shotguns, and many thousands of dollars less expensive than many of the custom double guns out there on the market...
