David,
Just a note to let you know for the second year in a row, I was able to harvest a nice Ohio White tail for the freezer with my CVA Apex with one of your 357 maximum barrels. I loaded my own shells using WW296 powder and 180g cast lead Bullet. Really put the smack down with one shot just like last year. Thanks again.

David I ran across a T/C Custom Shop 15 in Encore barrel in 357 Max. I can't really make out the date on lug. Bore, chamber and crown look good. Can one expect any degree of accuracy with the right load from these barrels?

If there is a "throat" in front of the chamber, instead of the typically short and abrupt forcing cone, then the answer to your question is yes.

Of course the best way to determine the accuracy potential of that barrel, is to just go shoot it! You've got a 50/50 chance that the barrel will meet your accuracy requirements or it won't...

Hi David- I just asked about making a .357 Max Stalker from a 14 inch T/C barrel. This barrel has the short forcing cone inside I believe....can this be reamed-out with a long throat style reamer to make it more like a Bellm style throat ?

Hi Ramon,

yes, I can rethroat the barrel. I would need a couple of dummy rounds with the exact bullets seated how you want to shoot them...

What is the cost to re-throat my .357 Max Super 14 and put on a barrel extension?
